On board the Canadian Pacific Steamships cruise ship Duchess of Atholl (1928) under way in the North Atlantic with the Cunard White Star Line passenger liner Queen Mary (1936) on the horizon. The photographer is looking forward and to port from the face of the superstructure showing passengers standing by the ship's rail just ahead of lifeboat number 2 using binoculars to look at the Queen Mary as she passes on a reciprocal course. Negatives numbers P84880, P85438 and P85439 were taken on the same occasion.
