A starboard bow view of the motor yacht Sundowner (1912) on the quayside in Ramsgate Harbour undergoing repairs and refurbishment. She is propped up on blocks and has covers over her deck. Her hull is painted blue and her ports are picked out in white. Three men are working on replacing the diagonal teak planking at the bow. The Sundowner had to put into Ramsgate harbour in August 1986 because of heavy weather damage to the hull while on passage from the Medway to a new berth in Southampton. She was fully restored by the East Kent Maritime Trust in time for the 50th anniversary of Dunkirk in May 1990. Negative numbers N86814CT to N86816CT were taken on the same occasion.
