A general view of vessels in Hoo Marina, Kent, including the spritsail barge Ethel Maud (1889) alongside the swim-headed lighter Connaught. The Ethel Maud (1889) is in the centre on a mud berth and is seen from wide off her starboard bow. Only her forepart is in the picture, her sails have been removed but her masts are standing and appear to have received a fresh coat of black paint. A white painted cabin cruiser is on the right alongside a motor barge and a spritsail barge. The photographer is on the foreshore looking past the stern of a motor yacht that has been hauled out onto a slipway.
