A port quarter view of an unidentified steel hulled spritsail barge berthed on the mud alongside a concrete lighter in Hoo Marina, Kent, with the wooden hulled spritsail barge Victor (1895) outboard. The steel barge is de-rigged with just her lower mainmast standing. she is fitted with a heavy four-spoke chaff cutter steering wheel and she has an auxiliary engine. The Victor is fully rigged, her bowsprit is topped and she has an eight-spoke wooden steering wheel. On shore in the background and seen from very fine off the port quarter is the motor fishing vessel INS 16 (fl. 1978).
