CMOS consisting on a 12 channel GPS with wide Code (i.e., Time) and Doppler (i.e., Frequency) hardware tracking capability allowing it to be used for weak signal (eg indoor) or very high dynamic applications. Also on chip was an ARM 9 CPU, RAM, ROM, UARTS, time and frequency peripherals.
