Queen Elizabeth class battleships
Scale 1:48. Plan shows the forward sections, as designed, of the Queen Elizabeth class battleships (1913). The plan is signed by Sir Phillip Watts [Director of Naval Construction 1902-1912] The drawing states it was signed of for Sir W. G. Armstrong Whitworth & Co., to be used for the battleship Malaya (1915), Messrs John Brown & Co for the battleship Barham (1914) and Fairfield Shipbuilding & Engineering Co. for the battleship Valiant (1914). The plan shows the sections at frames 14, 21, 27, 33, the centre of the 'A' barbette, the centre of the 'B' barbette, 78, 96, 108 and 129.
