Queen Elizabeth class battleships
Scale 1:192. Plan shows a general arrangement drawing of the armour scheme, as designed, of the Queen Elizabeth class battleships (1913). The plan is signed by Sir Phillip Watts [Director of Naval Construction 1902-1912]. The words "Admiralty Board Minute 17-7-1912" are also written on the plan. The drawing states it was signed of for Sir W. G. Armstrong Whitworth & Co., to be used for the battleship Malaya (1915), Messrs John Brown & Co for the battleship Barham (1914) and Fairfield Shipbuilding & Engineering Co. for the battleship Valiant (1914).
