A slightly distant starboard bow view, taken from fine off the bow, of the bowsprit spritsail barge Gladys (1901) under sail in the Thames Estuary off Southend, Essex, during the Southend Barge Match. She has a white jib and the Sunblest Bread logo is on her topsail. The staysail barge on the right is the Ena (1906) and she has the white X logo of R. & W. Paul Ltd on her topsail. The spritsail barge on the left has not been identified. A vertical format negative.
