A distant starboard bow view, taken from fine off the bow, of the staysail spritsail barge Xylonite (1926) and the bowsprit barge Gladys (1901) under sail in the Thames Estuary. The Xylonite is on the right and has a white staysail and the Hoseasons logo on her topsail. The Gladys in the centre has a white staysail and jibsail and a Sunblest Bread logo on her topsail. They are both on the starboard tack. The bowsprit barge on the left with a striped staysail has not been identified. Negatives numbers PM2433/12CN to PM2434/21CN were taken on the same occasion.
