A slightly distant port bow view, taken from fine off the bow, of the bowsprit spritsail barge Gladys (1901) under sail racing during the 1981 Blackwater Match. She has a white jib, is on the starboard tack and has the Sunblest Bread logo on her topsail.. The race starts off Osea Island in the Blackwater and runs out into the Thames Estuary to the Wallet Spitway off Clacton before turning for the run back.
