A group of young teenage schoolboys on Sutherland Quay, Tyne Dock, South Shields, with the educational cruise ship Dunera (1937) in the background. Many of the boys are in school uniform and they are all carrying one suitcase or holdall and three have cameras. One of the boys is carrying a suitcase with the initials J.F.J. on it. They are walking past the dockside rail mounted crane number 76. The Dunera is berthed port side to the quay. This same group of boys is also shown in negative number N85049.
