A port broadside of HMS Highflyer (1898) moored at Mumbai [Bombay]

A port broadside view of the Second Class Cruiser HMS Highflyer (1898) moored at Mumbai [Bombay]. The flag of Rear Admiral Sir Hugh H. D. Tothill, KCMG, CB, is flying from the main mast as Highflyer was the flagship for the East Indies Station between July 1919 and 10 January 1921. A whaler and a pinnace are moored to the guest boom fixed to the side in line with the bridge. A rowing gig is approaching the ship from astern the two ship's boats.

Lieutenant Commander Eric W. D. Fellowes joined the ship in May 1919 just before the ship was recommissioned in July 1919 and Paid Off in April 1921.
