A 70 ton cement mill being shipped on board the cargo liner Piako (1962) at Newport, Monmouthshire. The photographer is on the quayside looking at the floating crane Simson III (1925) lifting mill No. 1 from a Wynn's Heavy Haulage trailer which is hauled by tractor unit GDW277, seen from the rear of the trailer. It is pouring with rain. Two of these cement mills were trans-shipped for delivery to Cockburn Cement Ltd, Fremantle, Western Australia, and the ship sailed on 9th February.
