The photographer is looking forward and slightly to starboard from the poop showing a 90 ft long container on the deck to starboard of the after hatches. The container holds a Hawker Siddeley Dynamics Ltd Blue Streak rocket which is to be test fired at the Woomera rocket range in Australia. Alongside a berth on the opposite side of the dock, seen from off her port quarter, is the strikebound passenger/cargo liner Rangitane (1949) in Federal Line colours.
