A British India Steam Navigation Company commander seated at his desk in his day cabin on board ship.

A British India Steam Navigation Company commander seated at his desk in his day cabin on board ship. He has turned his head to the left to look at the camera. A calendar is on the bulkhead but it is not sufficiently clear to be able to determine the date. A card at the back of his desk reads "Why be difficult when with a little effort you can be bloody impossible." A model of a 1st Rate ship-of-the-line is sitting on top of a radio behind him. Negatives numbers N85766, N85773, N85776 and N85777 are all of this officer in his cabin on the same occasion.
