Looking along the waterfront of a developed residential area, probably Kuala Trengganu, in the state of Trengganu, on the east coast of Malaysia. A number of cycle rickshaws, bicycles and a motor car are on the coast road and a telegraph pole is on the left. The coast is lined with palms and other trees. Double-ended boats of various sizes are on the water and some of them have a lugsail rigged. In the background is a low promontory which has single storey, wooden construction, open-sided buildings under palm frond roofs erected on it.
