She is berthed port side to the quay and has two accommodation ladders rigged to shell doors amidships. A part of shoolgirls in uniform are embarking up the shortest of the accommodation ladders. Everything forward of the bridge and aft of number 10 lifeboat is out of the picture. The photographer is in a slightly elevated position on the quayside.
