Two groups of female students disembarking from the British India Steam Navigation Company educational cruise ship Nevasa (1956) in an unknown port. The first group led by a female teacher are crossing the quay. The second group are descending the steep accommodation ladder and crossing a brow onto the quayside and they are led by two teachers, one male and one female. A uniformed rating and the Master At Arms are checking their papers at the foot of the brow. The ship is berthed port side to the quay and lifeboat number 14 is under its davits in the right background.
