The British India Steam Navigation Company cargo liner Chakdara (1951) loading cargo alongside a wharf in Tilbury Dock, Essex. The photographer is on a dockside crane looking aft and to starboard from abreast the ship's bridge showing a wooden pallet loaded with cardboard boxes being lowered towards number 3 hatch. The boxes are labelled as "explosive" and "glass with care" at one end and "K.A.B. 1575 Khartoum via Port Sudan" at the other end. Transparency number P62580CT was taken on the same occasion.
