The port first class gallery on 'B' deck on board the Orient Steam Navigation Company passenger/cargo liner Orsova (1954). The photographer is looking aft during the day showing the first class square beyond the closed doors. The port gallery was predominantly in red decor whereas the starboard gallery was in green in an effort to educate the passengers into the colur difference between port and starboard. The original transparency is incorrectly marked "F.C. starboard gallery".
