A children's fair on the promenade deck on board a British India Steam Navigation Company educational cruise ship. Children and two teachers are at a stall trying to win a bar of dairy milk chocolate by throwing a penny onto one of a number of bars laid on the deck. The promenade deck is enclosed by striped canvas screens and national flags are hung against the screens.
