A view of the port side of the afterpart of the British India Steam Navigation Company cargo liner Chakdara (1951) working cargo in Tilbury Dock, Essex. The photographer is in the cab of a crane on the quayside looking aft and to starboard from abreast the bridge showing a wooden packing case being swung aboard to number three hold by a dockside crane. This is a good view of the deck layout from the funnel aft. The P.L.A. pontoon number 1327 and a steel lighter are between the ship and the quayside. Transparencies numbers P80000CT to P80028CT were taken on the same occasion.
