On board the British India Steam Navigation Company cargo liner Chakdara (1951) while loading cargo in Tilbury Dock, Essex. The photographer is on the starboard side amidships by the forward end of number three hatch coaming looking to port and slightly aft showing a pallet holding wooden crates consigned to Singa via Port Sudan being lowered into the forward end of the hold. A pallet loaded with two tyred wheels is being swung towards the aft end of the hold. Transparencies numbers P80000CT to P80028CT were taken on the same occasion.
