A view of the port side of the afterpart of the British India Steam Navigation Company cargo liner Chakdara (1951) working cargo in Tilbury Dock, Essex. The photographer is on the quayside abreast the forward part of the superstructure looking aft and to starboard. The P.L.A. pontoon number 54 is between the ship and the quay. A large wooden packing case is being swung towards number four hold. Transparencies numbers P80000CT to P80028CT were taken on the same occasion.
