The display was mounted in the tween decks and the ship sailed from Fremantle on 20 February 1962 for Karachi and 9 Persian Gulf ports. On 12 April 1962 she departed from Abadan for Australia having played host to over 11,500 visitors. A general view of two British India Line display panels, one showing B-I routes under the heading "B-I The Connecting Link 1856-1962" and the other showing images of 12 different B-I ships.
