A port quarter view of the British India Steam Navigation Company cargo liner Nuddea (1954) loading cargo at Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The photographer is on the quayside close alongside the stern looking forward showing the Hyster fork lift truck number 147 of the Melbourne Harbour Trust with a pallet loaded with drums of Phthalylsulfathiazole. Two stevedores are connecting slings to the pallet ready for it to be lifted aboard into number 5 or number 6 hold of the Nuddea.
