A port bow view of the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cargo liner Strathardle (1967) alongside the Ocean Terminal at Kowloon, Hong Kong. Her starboard anchor is suspended below its hawse and numbers 3 and 4 hatches are open. The passenger/cargo liner Cathay (1957) is berthed astern. The photographer is looking from the roof of the terminal building and three fire engines are on the quay close to the bow of the Strathardle. Hong Kong Island and Victoria Peak are in the background. Transparencies numbers PCT629 to PCT641 were taken on the same occasion.
