A port bow view of the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cargo liner Strathbrora (1967) under construction on the slip at the Mitsui Zosen shipyard at Tamano, Japan. The shell of her hull aft of number five hold is complete and the decks aft of her engine room are in place. The lower hatch openings for number five hold can be seen. The photographer is on the upper deck of her sister ship Strathardle (1967) looking across the building berths and showing the bottom sections of her other sister ship Strathconon (1967) on the adjoining berth. The Strathardle was launched 19 September 1966.
