The three forward cranes and the foremast on board the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cargo liner Strathardle (1967) while alongside the fitting out berth of Mitsui Zosen at Tamano, Japan. The photographer is on the starboard side of the deck abreast the aft corner of number three hatch looking forward and to port. Hatches one and two are open. The Strathardle ran trials on 7 January and was handed over to P & O on 20 January before sailing on her maiden voyage to London via Kobe, Yokohama and Hong Kong.
