A port bow view of the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cargo liner Strathbrora (1967) in the shipyard of Mitsui Zosen at Tamano, Japan, on launch day. The photographer is in an elevated position behind the launch platform looking at the port side of the bow of the ship prior to the christening. The ship is dressed overall and a circular cloth cage is suspended above the bow. Both anchors are suspended below their hawse pipes. A vertical format image. Transparencies numbers PCT1442 to PCT1454 were taken on the same occasion.
