Passengers in the ship's motor lifeboat number 14 heading away from the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company passenger liner Oriana (1960). The starboard midships of the ship's hull is in the background and she has two accommodation ladders rigged. Her starboard boats numbers 11, 13 and 15 are missing from their davits. Six passemngers and two crew are in the boat. The photographer is in another boat directly ahead of boat number 14.
