Looking aft on board a Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cargo liner of the Strathardle (1967) class in an unknown Japanese port. The photographer is on the port side of the mast house looking aft showing a group of Japanes officials looking down into the port side of number four hold, which has the upper level hatch open. The starboard side hatch of number four hold and the port side hatch of number five hold are open.
