Two girl trainees coiling a strand rope on deck on board the 3-masted topsail schooner Malcolm Miller (1968) while under sail in coastal waters. They are on the starboard side of the foredeck abreast the trainee accommodation skylight. Coils of braided rope are stored on hooks welded to side of the skylight. The photographer is looking down and forward from the starboard forward edge of the deckhouse top.
