Boy trainees working on the foresail and mainsail booms on board the 3-masted topsail schooner Malcolm Miller (1968) while under sail, possibly in The Solent. It is not clear whether the boys are stowing or preparing to hoist the foresail and mainsail. The Bermudan mizzen is set. The photographer is looking aft and down from the port side of the foremast. A large number of yachts are under sail in the distance and many are using their spinnakers.
