Taking in the Bermudan mizzen on board the 3-masted topsail schooner Malcolm Miller (1968) while entering Portsmouth Harbour. A boy trainee is at the helm concentrating on the compass heading. Some of the trainees are on the mizzen boom taking in the sail and other crew members are on deck looking towards Portsmouth Dockyard. The photographer is looking aft from the starboard side of the deckhouse top. Royal Navy submarines are alongside HMS Dolphin in the right background, Fort Blockhouse is beyond the mizzen boom and Spitsand Fort is in the distance.
