The photographer is at sea on board the ship probably looking south east by south abaft of Navy Island. Titchfield Peninsula is in the foreground and the harbour front of East Harbour is in the background. This is Slide 34 of Captain Henry P. Bird's lecture titled "Caribbean Cargoes", about his service as Second Officer on board Jamaica Planter (1959) and Port Officer for Jamaica Banana Producers Steam Ship Company based at Kingston, Jamaica from 6 January 1971 to 26 April 1971. The lecture consists of 45 slides.
