A starboard bow view, taken from wide off the bow, of Royal Navy destroyer depot ship Tyne (1878) at anchor, probably in the Thames Estuary. Her starboard anchor is deployed and she has a boat boom rigged amidships. She is fitted with topmasts. A steam pinnace is moving away from her stern. The image is almost a solhouette and the negative is slightly out of focus.
