A slightly distant starboard near broadside view, taken from only just abaft the beam, of the Royal Navy torpedo gunboat Circe (1892), presumably at anchor in The Downs.
A slightly distant starboard near broadside view, taken from only just abaft the beam, of the Royal Navy torpedo gunboat Circe (1892), presumably at anchor in The Downs. The photographer is on board another vessel and the after part of the hull of the Circe is hidden by a long swell. Her stem is just out of the picture. A note on the negative says the photographer is using Camera B. Negatives numbers N18645 to N18647 were taken on the same occasion.
