The two-masted lug rigged yacht Sea Gull (1874) being launched from the beach at Lower Walmer, Kent.
A slightly distant starboard bow view of the two-masted lug rigged yacht Sea Gull (1874) being launched from the beach at Lower Walmer, Kent. Her jib and mizzen sails are set and her foresail is shortened. Her bow is obscured by the spray caused by the launching. The photographer is in a boat offshore looking towards the seafront and the middle of the three houses above the beach is The Bungalow, the home of the Adams family, which was completed early in 1898.
