Edgar Tarry Adams' wooden boathouse and his three boats on the beach at Walmer, Kent. Edgar Tarry Adams is looking out of the small opening in the end wall of the hut. To the left is the two masted, lug-rigged yacht Sea Gull (1874), seen from off her starboard quarter and her masts and rudder have been unshipped. On the right are the single masted, lug rigged, dinghies Sandpiper (1899) and Isabel Adams (Fl. 1890), both seen from fine off the starboard bow. The Sandpiper is flying the burgee of the Cambridge University Cruising Club. A vertical format negative.
