A slightly distant port quarter view of the two-masted lug-rigged yacht Sea Gull (1874) on the beach at Walmer, Kent.
A slightly distant port quarter view of the two-masted lug-rigged yacht Sea Gull (1874) on the beach at Walmer, Kent. Her bow is pointing towards the sea. An elderly crew member of the Sea Gull is standing by the beach capstan and the schoolboy next to him is thought to be one of the Adams family. The Adams family boat house is sited between two capstans and the boat in front of it, with the white bulwarks, is the Adams family single-masted lugger Isabel Adams (Fl. 1890).
