The Coast Guard hut on Walmer beach, Kent. It is built on stilts and a man is standing at the foot of the steps leading up to the door. A double barrelled shotgun is resting against the handrail to the left of the man. Afloat just offshore on the right is the single masted, lug-rigged dinghy Isabel Adams (Fl. 1890).
