A close starboard bow view of the two masted, lug rigged yacht Sea Gull (1874) drawn up stern first on the shingle beach at Deal, Kent. Her bowsprit and the tops of her masts are out of the picture. A man wearing a tam-o-shanter is in the cockpit leaning on the cabin roof, and a woman is sitting next to him. The caption given on the negative bag reads "Harvey in Sea Gull". The photographer is looking up the beach showing some of the houses on the waterfront. Negative number N19302 was taken on the same occasion.
