A slightly distant port quarter view of the two masted, lug rigged yacht Sea Gull (1874) under sail in The Downs, off Walmer, Kent. She has her jib, mainsail and mizzen sail set and is on the starboard tack. Francis Norris Adams is at the helm. A note on the negative says the photographer is using Camera B. A vertical format negative which has damage at the bottom and the lower right but the image of the yacht is not affected.
