A slightly distant starboard side view, taken from abaft the beam, of the lug rigged dinghy Isabel Adams (Fl. 1890) under sail in The Downs.
A slightly distant starboard side view, taken from abaft the beam, of the lug rigged dinghy Isabel Adams (Fl. 1890) under sail in The Downs. She is sailing on the port tack and the forward part of her hull is hidden by the sea swell. A note on the negative says Alfred Mason is at the helm and the photographer is using Camera A. The Adams family referred to this boat as "the lifeboat".
