A slightly distant starboard quarter view of the lug rigged dinghy Isabel Adams (Fl. 1890) under sail in The Downs, off Walmer, Kent. She is on the starboard tack in very calm conditions and Francis Norris Adams is at the helm. The Adams family referred to this boat as "the lifeboat". A spritsail barge is under sail in the background. A note on the vertical format negative says the photographer is using Camera B.
