A starboard bow view of the lug rigged dinghy Isabel Adams (Fl. 1890) at anchor in The Downs, off Walmer, Kent. A lantern is fitted on a halyard attached to the unstayed mast. The four Adams family children, Francis Norris, Isabel Mary, Gordon and Pauline are in the boat and Francis is using a hand fishing line. The Adams family referred to this boat as "the lifeboat". A vertical format negative.
