A port bow view of the lug rigged dinghy Isabel Adams (Fl. 1890) being rowed towards the beach at Walmer, Kent. A crewman is at the oars. Miss Duncan is sitting by the mast and Francis Norris Adams is sitting in the stern. Four two masted sailing vessels are at anchor in The Downs. The Adams family referred to this boat as "the lifeboat". A note on the vertical format negative says the photographer is using Camera A.
