A bow view, taken from very fine off the starboard bow, of the lug rigged dinghy Isabel Adams (Fl. 1890) under sail approaching Walmer beach, Kent. She is on the starboard tack and a crew member is about to lower the sail. Francis Norris Adams is at the helm. The Adams family referred to this boat as "the lifeboat".
