A starboard bow view of the lug rigged dinghy Isabel Adams (Fl. 1890) under sail in The Downs.

A starboard bow view of the lug rigged dinghy Isabel Adams (Fl. 1890) under sail in The Downs. She is on the port tack with the sail boomed out to starboard and a crew member is peering under the foot of the sail. The Adams family referred to this boat as "the lifeboat". A note on the negative says the photographer is using Camera B and F.N.A. (Francis Norris Adams) is sailing the boat "first time".
